Building Trusting Relationships, 1-hour class

Trust is the foundation of every effective team—and building it is everyone’s responsibility. In this session, employees at all levels will explore the critical role that trust plays in professional relationships and overall workplace culture. Participants will identify the habits and behaviors that build trust—and those that break it—and reflect on how to strengthen their own relational skills. Through discussion and self-assessment, each attendee will leave with a personal action plan to apply trust-building strategies that support stronger collaboration, communication, and professionalism on the job.

Change – the New Normal, 1-hour class

There was a catchy tune in the early 70’s by David Bowie where the chorus repeats  “ch..ch…ch.. changes!” Also sung in Shrek II, the song aptly captures where we find ourselves today in terms of change. It seems to be constant, and it doesn’t seem to be letting up soon. Yet every change breeds an opportunity. And there has never been a better opportunity to make positive changes in your workplace – or personal life – than now. Learn the phases of change, how to deal with each of them. Discover how your mind and your perspective can move you from dreading change to embracing it. Understand how collaborating with others generates new ideas to create a workplace that is positive and productive while offering you the autonomy to motivate you.

Closing the Performance Gap, 1-hour class

When performance stalls, understanding the root cause is key to fostering growth. In this session, coaches, supervisors, and leaders will work through a case study and use the Mind the Gap framework to identify the specific barriers preventing an employee’s growth—whether it’s a lack of skill, will, knowledge, capacity, cultural competence, or emotional intelligence. Participants will develop an action plan tailored to their case study and learn how to apply this framework to assess and support the development of any employee they work with. This session will provide practical tools for identifying performance gaps and creating targeted strategies for growth and improvement.

Communication Competence, 1-hour class

Effective communication involves a variety of skillsets. This session will discuss the main skills needed to become a competent communicator so that you can communicate with clarity and understanding to achieve productive outcomes.

Conducting Evidence-Based Observations and Evaluations, 2-hour class

How can we ensure our employee evaluations are fair, consistent, and rooted in what actually happened—not what we assume happened? In this interactive session, supervisors, coaches, and leaders from public service and government organizations will explore how to conduct observations that are grounded in objective evidence. Participants will learn to define what counts as evidence (and what doesn’t), practice strategies for collecting clear, actionable observation notes, and examine how to draw performance conclusions that are free from bias or personal opinion. Whether you’re new to conducting evaluations or looking to sharpen your current approach, this session will equip you with practical tools to support transparency, growth, and accountability across your team.

Don’t Dwell on Differences; Focus on Talents, 2-Hour class

This workshop offers a transformative approach to team dynamics by shifting the focus from conflict resolution to talent optimization. Rather than viewing differences as problems to fix, participants will learn to see them as diverse strengths to leverage. Through a strengths-based philosophy, leaders and team members will gain practical tools to identify, understand, and align their unique capabilities. This not only fosters a more collaborative and resilient team culture but also enhances individual engagement and organizational performance. By participating in this workshop, attendees will walk away with a fresh perspective on communication, collaboration, and leadership. They’ll learn how to proactively navigate challenges by aligning strengths instead of reacting to conflict. The result is stronger trust, improved productivity, and a shared sense of purpose—ultimately creating high-performing teams that are equipped to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Managing Conflict Constructively, 2-Hour class

This class will provide you with tools, techniques, and practice in resolving work conflicts involving employees, coworkers, supervisors or customers. Strategies for win-win outcomes are emphasized in this interactive class, with a particular focus on ways to guide a conflict from a competitive mode into a collaborative one.

Workplace Harassment Prevention (Training options for supervisors or for non-supervisory employees), 1 or 2 Hour Class

One hour of Sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to non-managerial employees and two hours of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to supervisors. A supervisor is anyone having the authority to make, or direct others to make, employment decisions such as hire, transfer, assign, discipline, promote, lay off, and similar decisions requiring independent judgment. The course content focuses on how to promote a respectful workplace and prevent harassment based on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
