CPS HR Consulting’s Remote Testing services allow public agencies to administer professionally developed employment exams in a virtual environment—without compromising test security, fairness, or reliability.

 

As part of our Test Rental program, remote testing options provide agencies with additional flexibility in how exams are delivered, while maintaining the same rigorous standards that define CPS HR’s testing services.

Remote Testing for Public Agencies

CPS HR’s Test Rental program is designed specifically for government and nonprofit organizations. Our remote testing options support agencies that need secure, reliable alternatives to in‑person testing due to geography, scheduling constraints, or operational considerations.

Remote testing through CPS HR helps agencies:

Unproctored Online Testing

Unproctored testing is available for select assessments and provides agencies with a flexible option for remote administration.

Tests available:

Hogan Personality Assessment:
A widely used assessment that provides insight into workplace personality characteristics relevant to performance and leadership.

CPS HR General Skills Exam:
A 50‑item exam measuring foundational skills such as reading comprehension, basic mathematics, and English language usage.

Online Skills Tests (via eSkill):
CPS HR partners with eSkill to offer a range of job‑related skills tests, including clerical, administrative, technical, financial, IT, and Microsoft Office assessments.

Remote Proctoring Services

Remote proctoring is available for agencies that require additional security controls during test administration. Candidates test remotely while being monitored by a live proctor.

Remote proctoring features include:

  • Real‑time monitoring by trained proctors
  • Candidate identity verification
  • Video and audio recording during the testing session
  • Secure administration of most CPS HR stock, semi‑stock, and agency exams

Candidates self‑schedule their exams and must have access to a computer or laptop with a webcam and microphone.

Due to current high demand, remote proctor testing availability may be limited, and candidates may experience delays in connecting with a proctor at their scheduled time. We ask that you place your order 2-3 weeks prior to the desired testing window.
