Meet Your Instructor

John Hiber is an accomplished finance professional with extensive knowledge and deep experience with government policy, pension systems, budgeting, legislation, administration, organizational development, change management, and strategic planning. Mr. Hiber has more than 25 years of leadership and executive experience within California state government, which includes four years serving as the Treasurer’s representative on the boards of the California Public Employee’s and seven years with CPS HR. He is known as a trusted business partner, with customer focus, detail oriented, and the ability to synthesize complex information into comprehensible formats.
