Shawn Garcia, PSHRA-CP, is a seasoned HR generalist and operations manager with over 20 years of experience in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong organizational skills, and ability to build effective working relationships with clients, candidates, governing bodies, and community stakeholders.
Shawn has served as a Project Consultant with CPS HR Consulting since July 2022, specializing in executive recruitment for public and nonprofit agencies. Prior to this role, Shawn held leadership positions with First 5 Contra Costa, where she oversaw human resources and administrative operations for more than two decades.
In addition to her professional experience, Shawn has served on local advisory bodies and committees since 2011, contributing to community governance and collaborating with the County’s Board of Supervisors’ representative on public and community issues.
